His work is highly energetic, graphic, and extremely pop. Yet his work still has the layers and abstraction that gives them a fine art quality.
His background in graphic design is evident as his pieces are incredibly well balanced and focused. Meggs tends to gravitate towards the portrayal of villainous characters like Skelletor or Megatron. I came across these amazing collages by Derek Gores about a year ago. These pieces are truly remarkable in how the bits and pieces come together perfectly.
